By using ShootMeet, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the ShootMeet application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use ShootMeet. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
3. Account
You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your credentials or allow others to access your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information in your profile.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use ShootMeet for any unlawful purpose
- Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
- Post inappropriate, offensive, or explicit content
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Spam, advertise, or send unsolicited messages
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Upload malware, viruses, or harmful content
- Manipulate ratings, XP, or badges through fake accounts or coordinated activity
5. Meetups and Workshops
ShootMeet facilitates connections between photographers. We are not responsible for:
- The conduct of users at meetups or workshops
- Personal safety at meetup locations
- Quality or accuracy of workshop content
- Financial transactions between users for paid workshops
Users participate in meetups and workshops at their own risk. We recommend meeting in public places and informing someone of your plans.
6. Content
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, bio, messages). By uploading content, you grant ShootMeet a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, store, and distribute your content within the app.
You must not upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others.
7. Premium Subscription
ShootMeet offers optional premium features. Premium subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy.
8. XP and Gamification
XP points, levels, and badges are for engagement purposes only and have no monetary value. We reserve the right to adjust XP balances to prevent abuse.
9. Ratings and Reviews
Ratings are intended to reflect genuine experiences. Submitting fake, retaliatory, or coordinated ratings is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
10. Blocking and Reporting
You can block users who you do not wish to interact with. Blocked users cannot see your profile, message you, or appear in your searches. You can report users for violations; reports are reviewed by our team.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
12. Limitation of Liability
ShootMeet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or data loss.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ShootMeet after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Porto, Portugal.
